Submitting tabs

To submit a tab you must be a registered user.
To contribute your own tabs to YouTab click ‘New/Edit’ at the top of the YouTab home page. When prompt link to the song you’d like to tab from youtube.com (we are currently working on enabling use of videos from other site as well), or choose a requested song from the list below. Then click the ‘Create’ button and you’ll be directed to YouTab’s editor where you can work on your tabs.

You can write your own tabs from scratch, or import Guitar Pro files in the following formats: gp3 , gp4 , and gp5.

After your tabs are created, fill out the description field in the info box to make your tabs easier to find for other users on the site. You can include song genre, key of the song, difficulty level, type (chords or tabs), musical instrument, and any other information that may be useful for other users when they're searching YouTab.
Don’t forget to check the ‘published’ box if you want other users to be able to view your tabs.
